Our journey – The Beginning
Our story began on November 21, 2016, with the official launch of the company.
In the early stage, the company focused on real-time sports betting data, delivering insights as matches and events unfolded. This work required fast processing, high accuracy, and the ability to manage large volumes of live data under pressure. That environment helped sharpen our technical skills and deepen our understanding of real-time analytics.
In 2018, however, major platforms began limiting access to sports data, which led us to rethink the direction of the business. This became a turning point. We shifted our focus toward broader and more sustainable ways of applying our data knowledge in business environments beyond sports.
Transition to Energy Consumption Analysis
In 2018, B·I·M made an important shift from sports data to energy consumption analysis.
This marked the beginning of a broader move toward practical data work with clear operational value. We started working with buildings and manufacturing companies to help them better understand and optimize how energy was used. This opened the door to collaborations with more than 100 production facilities across Europe. The work focused on reducing waste, lowering costs, and improving operational efficiency.
Through these projects, we developed deeper expertise in consumption patterns, resource management, and performance-related data analysis. This stage became an important foundation for solving more complex data challenges across a wider range of industries.
Big Data Expertise and Strategic Partnerships
By 2021, B·I·M had expanded its large-scale data expertise across multiple industries, building stronger capabilities in data operations, cost optimization, and analytical insight.
That year, we established new partnerships with companies in the Czech Republic and with a UK-based investment firm operating in Russia and Ukraine. These projects involved full-scale data operations, optimization work, and data-driven decision support.
The COVID-19 pandemic temporarily slowed some of this work, and the later conflict in the region eventually brought part of it to an end. At the same time, 2021 also marked the beginning of a long-term partnership with the Czech Technical University (CVUT).
Through this collaboration, we began supporting students on real-world data projects, helping them build practical skills and apply theory to complex data challenges.
Launch of Our First Private Data Hub in the Czech Republic
In 2022, B·I·M launched its first Private Data Hub in the Czech Republic, creating a dedicated environment for focused work, learning, experimentation, and practical development in data-related fields.
More than a workspace, the hub was designed as a private, high-functioning setting equipped for analysis, computing, and structured project work. It became a place where technology, learning, and practical execution could come together in one environment.
The concept also reflected a broader idea behind B·I·M: that strong performance is supported not only by tools and systems, but also by the quality of the working environment itself. This made the Private Data Hub an important step in shaping how we approach productivity, innovation, and long-term development.
Expanding to the United States
In 2023, B·I·M expanded to the United States by securing an important client in Los Angeles. This marked the beginning of a new phase focused on extending our work beyond Europe and building a stronger international presence.
The move opened the door to new opportunities, partnerships, and practical applications of our data expertise in a broader market environment. It was an important step in proving that B·I·M’s approach to business intelligence, reporting, and data solutions could scale across regions.
Strengthening Relationships and Optimizing Operations
In 2024, B·I·M focused on strengthening its presence in both the Czech Republic and the United States while reinforcing the foundations needed for sustainable growth.
We deepened key relationships, improved our internal structure, and welcomed new talent into the team. At the same time, we continued optimizing operations to ensure that our work remained efficient, scalable, and aligned with long-term development.
This period was less about expansion and more about building a stronger, more resilient foundation for the next stage of growth.
Expanding the B·I·M Framework
In 2025, B·I·M entered a new stage focused on refining its service structure, expanding practical use cases, and integrating AI more directly into its solutions and workflows.
This period marked the development of a clearer service framework built around business intelligence, data audits, private data hubs, automation, and AI-supported processes. At the same time, Data Journey was introduced as a more structured way to connect people with practical opportunities, collaboration paths, and real data environments.
The growing role of AI integration also became an important part of this phase — not as a trend, but as a practical layer supporting reporting, document handling, workflow efficiency, and smarter operational solutions. Together, these changes helped shape a more scalable and future-ready direction for B·I·M.
